Dance Group

This year the Bennett Road Dance Group has been organised by Mrs Cassidy and Miss Clark. It consists of 18 students from Grade four to six who practise hard every week. This year the group will be dancing to the song 'Don't Stop The Music' by Rhianna. The dance itself is being choreographed by Professional Dance Teacher Miss Renata. The students are already working hard on the routine, which they will perform in front of many people at the School Combined Showcase held at St Marys Senior High School later this year.

Choir

The school choir is for students in Years 3-6, and performs both within and outside of the school. The choir has performed at school Open Days and is currently preparing a selection of songs for their performance at the Minchinbury Area Combined Schools Showcase in August. The choir rehearses before school on Tuesdays, 8:25-8:55am, and Wednesday lunchtimes. Any student in Years 3-6 who would like to be part of the choir should see Miss Poulton now.

The Signing Choir is a new addition to the school this year. With only 10 students from Years 4-6, the group is already learning the Auslan (Australian Sign Language) signs needed to perform their songs at the upcoming Showcase. The Signing Choir rehearses at lunchtime on Thursdays.
